I couldn't find another thread about this game.

Will anybody be playing this when it's released in a couple of days?

Aion is a visually stunning massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) where your character wields devastating powers and sweeping wings to explore a celestial world of breath-taking beauty and epic adventure. It features cutting-edge imagery, gorgeous environments, and a unique fantasy world. Your character plays a pivotal role in the fate of Atreia, where the enemy is not only the other player faction but a deadly ancient evil as well.

I believe there are still monthly fees but you'll be hard-pushed to find and MMO that isn't nowadays.

Any game that costs money = wont be playing. My gaming budget is $0 for the foreseeable future. Though I really haven't heard enough good things about Aion to warrant checking it out by paying to play it even if I had the money.

It looked good, but i'm not paying for another MMO subscription, plus the $50 that they charge on Steam for the game itself.
I expect that there will be tons of bugs for the first few months, working out kinks in the Cry Engine.

Maybe if there is a free demo i'll try it...

They'll probably release a free trial a couple of months after the release.

I'd rather play NT.

The game has already been out in Asia for awhile they just need to slap some engrish on it and go. Played it during beta and I thought it was pretty f*cking lame and very boring.
