That's right, anyone who actually reads around here, a fan of zombies and hasn't read sh*t from Max Brooks, son of the awesome Mel Brooks, needs to go out and buy The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z and read them now. You'll see how freaking awesome they are. Here's hoping the movie is done faithfully to the book, if so, it'll be the best zombie movie to date.

Just a fun quote of Mel Brooks on the movie lol

"has to be epic ... and if it isn't the Lord of the Rings of zombie movies, I don't want to see it get made."

Also, apparently he has stated that he's read the script and it's a great adaptation and pleased with it. That's a positive.

So ya, while I don't have faith in Hollywood and bet they'll screw it up, here's to a potentially awesome zombie flick coming out. And I'll post any trailers and news that comes up in here, the news so far is old so go search for that old news if you want lol or just wiki it.

1. Thank you for catching up to 2008 on the movie front.

2. Yes, the books are epic, the audio book of WWZ is epic and hopefully the movie will be epic. News is 2010 release, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

1) I knew about the movie since 2008, but no post here was about it, so figured I'd tell people. Thanks for a foolish assumption of my movie knowledge lol

2) I heard that they were reworking the script earlier this year so it might be more like 2011 I believe.
