Hello,

I was playing on your 32 slot MWLL server around 9AM Central time, on February 26, 2010. The server crashed and the map reloaded on SA_Clearcut. Someone, I don't know if it was the admin or not, started complaining about the mod developers being failures etc. because the game is a bit more unstable after the release of the 2.0 patch. I argued that the game is still very playable and is a Beta, and told the person to "QQ more"

Though there was no reply, I chose, incorrectly, to drive the point home by telling the aforementioned person that if they didn't like the stability of the game/server to go play on another large server(Matchbox). The admin, don't recall the name...began with an S, replied to what i said by saying that I could go play on the other server. I replied by saying I was perfectly content on Cracked and that I wasn't the one complaining about the stability of a Beta. The admin replied by stating he was going to ban me. 10 seconds later, kicked and banned.

Now, as I stated, I was in the wrong for driving the point home after the other person had remained silent, and I apologize for that. However, A ban on someone for defending the hard work of the developers seems a little extreme to me, on top of the fact I was given no warning, nor do I recall the admin identifying himself as such until they stated they were going to ban me.

Please consider unbanning me. Thank you for your time.

Apparently, I was only banned for the duration of the round. I am now unbanned.

For the sake of the record, the admin that banned me is named Shadowized.

I understand he felt he was doing his job as an admin and that back talk is usually not tolerated by many admins.(I am an admin on a Gmod and CS:S server) I do not bear a grudge, and seek no retribution.

A ban on someone for defending the hard work of the developers seems a little extreme to me, on top of the fact I was given no warning, nor do I recall the admin identifying himself as such until they stated they were going to ban me.

Hard work of the devs in breaking the game with sh*tty patches. I like it.

this is exactly why I don't wear a tag 90% of the time when I play any game, for the surprise buttsex bans that are handed out.

It was only for the duration of the round as you have noticed, but I'm just sick of people hiding behind this blanket excuse of "well, it's a beta", yes it's a beta and I'm fully aware of this, I'm also fully aware that when a patch gets released it betters a product, not making it more unstable and unbalanced, that is exactly the definition of failure is.

fanboyism or not, they need to realize that the more stuff they fuckup, the more nobody is going to play their mod, if servers crash constantly its bad for them, not us, because it isn't my fault that it randomly happens, obviously clearcut went from having a 10% crash chance upto 100%, it happened 5 times this morning due to their approach at testing code.

the amount of rage from you is very cute, I honestly don't give a flying fuck what you think.
