ive had a problem with my friends list on steam since i can remember. it worked for a while but now i appear on other peoples list but mine is empty. so people can talk to me if they send me first. i can invite friends to put on my list but they never get the invite. but no one can join me it never says im in a game. ive been using xfire which is a great alternative. but i read some forums on steam and they said to delete this certain cfg file which i did and my friends list worked but that only worked once now nothing happens when i do it. and when i click on friends it never connects to my friends list. has anyone had this type of problem?

neither has mine. I pretty much gave up on it. It would be nice if it worked.

Friends List worked for like 3 months and then it stopped working on a regular basis. I'd love it if Valve could put MSN Messenger list in there instead of an another new IM list.
