Has anyone else had a problem connecting to Steam lately? I haven't downloaded anything new or made any changes to my system lately but as of the past 3 days I get this error message every time I try to connect....

download the steam installer and just run a repair on steam, it has something to do with windows and how temp files are handled while it patches.

Turns out, it was an issue with the newest steam update. I downloaded the installer, uninstalled steam, then re-installed. Problem solved.
