Soo.. ive been here and there but my P55 Classified 200 motherboard... fried, that was about a month ago. Took me forever to get a replacement, so EVGA sent me a Z68 FTW board. First... what sucked was i had to buy a new cpu. Second it only supported the Sandy Bridge cpu's, not a bad thing but meh. I ended up with an i7-2600k. Let me say that going from a i7-860 to this 2600k is like ho le shit ballz to the walls faster and easier to overclock. I will never buy a cpu that is not unlocked again. Ill take some pics and post them up later but I dare say I could overclock to 5 ghz with no problem (at 4.5). Hope this board doesnt fry... uhggggg.

New motherboard..

Ok this thing is amazing! It overclocks so much more and the temps are just stupid lower than the 860 i had...

Idle temps

Load Temps

At 4.2 ghz on my 860 i would hit 67 C on water and i had to get the vcore up pretty high on it just to get it to crank out the ghz, but it was a locked cpu. I looooove unlocked cpu's, shit is so much easier! I gota do some futermark tests and other. Im fairly certain that i could do a 5ghz oc without any issues with the cooling setup i got.

my 3930k goes to 5.0 on water easy. I run 4.6 24/7 because there is no need to go higher. The new high-end stuff from Intel is fucking sweet. This is on a Rampage IV formula board

I had my heart set on 5.0, and invested millions in water cooling. Only to hit the wall at 4.8. I hate my life.
