[Marcelo Jenisch]

Hello,

Yesterday morning I was playing in the office 24/7 and was suddenly banned from the server without any reason that I can figure out. I use to play there daily as Marcelo Jenisch. I guess many people who play there know me. I really like from the server and would like to know what happened for my ban.

Yea this new admin "Dendroid" is being a fucking dick banning people for no apparent reason. I was there the other day when he banned another regular for no reason. I've played with Marcelo many times, never does a damn thing to even deserve a kick.

Well, it just happened that I found out my ban was removed. Everything seems to be ok now. If it was not a temporary ban, I would like to express my gratitude for the admin who removed it. ;D

First off, get your information straight. I have not banned anyone since I've been admin. Don't accuse me of banning a player without proof.

I said that the console stated Rambo was banned- kicked with no answer of who banned him. I said that the server banned him.

It was me, after multiple times of warning you to fix your internet in chat, you still sit at 200 ping lagging around wildly. I banned you for a day to fix your raghead internet as you lag us all to hell.

Well, looks like you were wrong about the first ban. Like I said in my original post, I have not banned anyone since i've been admin. As for Rambo, neither Shorty or I banned him, he was banned by another admin. I could care less if you hate me, but don't accuse me of banning players when I haven't. I will take full responsibility for banning a player when I do.

Marcelo lives in Brazil. Therefore a in high ping, so there is just huge delay for him. It does not affect others when we see him since the server will always give "real-time" of his position.

 

Dendriod, I have been witnessing borderline abuse coming from your actions.

 

When a new player joins a game, you fail to give first warnings and try to communicate with the player. Instead you spam the message "CT's OUTSIDE BY 1:30!!!" Aftermath usually resulted in a slay/kick.

 

When a player doesn't know not to kill hosties/teamflash, a warning should be in place. Usually both these actions are from in-house friends just messing around. Two occasions you slayed without warning.

 

When a player like myself feels the pressure of an admin to "follow the rules" (You staying in spectator mode for 30mins-2 hours spamming "CT's OUTSIDE BY 1:30!!!" ) it no longer becomes fun. This is my main reasoning of you being borderline abusive with your actions. The nature of this server is one of the most-laidback ones I have seen, and all of the regulars and admins know that.

 

This is why Maserati immediately blamed you. You may have not banned him, but everyone knows you'll be the dick to do it.

 

P.S. How the fuck can a server randomly banned a player? Unless you have timed ban on high ping... Can admins anonymously ban players through server console?

I appreciate your feedback. I'll like to give you some insight on my decision making. I usually don't care if people camp or do whatever, but when other players start complaining and I'm around, I will take action. I will send a direct message to a player and give them a warning and then take the appropriate action (slay) when I need to.

 

On the note of me being a "dick", I have seen admins BAN players for "admin disrespect" and we are talking about a permanent ban. I might be a "dick" sometimes, but I have been the most relaxed when it comes to everything else. I might be a hard-ass about saving the hosties and not camping the entire round, but overall, I don't do half the crap that the other admins do.
