Hmm, so i install ad-ware professional. run the full system scan, nothing. I think: oh, good, no spyware.

go to the next step -- i install Kaspersky.

run the full system scan...

leave for about an hour... the scan is complete.

I look at the report:

88 Viruses
2 possibly infected objects.

No kidding, huh? and i was wondering why Counter-Strike lags once in a while

PWNED!! Ouch man.. thats crazy. 88 is a lot of viruses (virii?).. that must have taken a long time to collect them up. You DO collect them right?

i have adaware se and it never finds anything well sometimes every now and then. so i figured id try Kaspersky but i went to the site and they all cost money. any good free ones out there?

i dont know, man. shadow gave me both ad-ware and kaspersky.

adaware doesnt look for viruses. My kaspersky trial is up so im using BitDefender now. I've also found that microsoft anti-spyware works better for me then adaware. I dont know if the adaware starts to not work properly after a certain amount of time but it doesnt seem to want to find anything for my anymore either, when the microsoft program found 9 cases.

yeah i have spybot, adaware se, and sp sweeper. also nortons antivirus and firewall. i just didnt know if there were any other good free anti spyware/virus software. because none of them seem to find anything anymore. which might not be bad for me because i stopped dowloading crap a while ago when my computer got f*cked up and couldnt be fixed.

kaspersky rules its the best. it uses very little ram has 2 processes and it kicks the sh*t out of viruses best scan software ever. im probalby gonna buy the personal security suite.

is there a free version of it. or is there a trial. if there is a trial how long does that last?

i just dl it. found 18 trojans. can i keep installing the trial every 30 days?

yo when i scanned my pc with kaspersky i had more virus's and infected files than normal files..i love kaspersky

I'm going to download the trial version now and test it out. I wonder how much more files this will find than what I have now. Since you all are saying pretty good things about this.
