Was this a joke or was that the actual controler? Hmmm that looks almost exactly like the remote that I use for my tv. WOW. If that was real Im pissed. I hoped nintendo was going to get out of the bottomless pit of the console world with the revolution. guess not. They only live from the DS which btw is sh*t compared to the psp in every aspect. Nintendogs f*ck that bullsh*t!!!! I hated the gamecube. The only good game was RE4 which is going to be ported to the ps2. Im hoping for a good game to come out of the new legend of zelda. Well sorry for getting a little off topic but we will see how the revolution is at launch. sh*t in in one hand hope in the other see which one fills up first.

That controller is pretty obsurd. But i think they were saying it works kind of like a mouse. Which would be kick-ass for some fps. But still none the less, that sh*t is obsurd. Oh well, i'll still buy it. Just for the mario party. My favorite drinking game.

well not quite what i was expecting. It definitly is original and I think it will probably be easier to use for games but idk, we'll have to see

who gives a sh*t about a controller. xbox and ps3 are putting out all this great technology and amazing vid cards and hardrive. and amazing things online. and revolution is talking about a remote. wow my tv has a remote. my lamp has a remote. my cd player has a remote. but a game console, i dont need another, no matter what it can do. sorry bout the negative repsonse, but ive never been a fan of nintendos games since after n64.

Omg!! how the heck are you gonna play games on a remote??? i have dish network, which has games on tv that you play using the remote.. and it sucks all ass in the world...

lol. Dish network has games you can play. Wow I used to have it when it first came out. Now i have cable. Cable sucks. When my wife and I actually buy a house i am definately going back to satellite. God i hate sh*tty apartments.

well dam that controller looks kick ass when they showed howd 2 use it on aots on g4tv, u can use it for like first person shooters and u aim with the remote it looks freakin awesome

I actually think it's pretty sweet, and I admire them for at least TRYING to do something original. The PS3 and XBOX 360 are going to be absolutely monsters, with the PS3 being something like 36 times more powerful than the PS2, while the Revolution being...3 times more powerful than gamecube. But in theory the PS3 games are going to play EXACTLY like the PS2 and PS1 games, while Nintendo is trying to create a new interractive experience. I think the possiblities of this controller are actually pretty sweet. Imagine a swordfighting game where you have to swing the remote to fight, or a version of CS where you actually have to aim? Pretty sweet in my mind...but then again, I have the maturity level of a 5 year old.

Only thing I'm worried about is how the public will accept it...I mean, why have a remote when you could have something like MGS4 etc?

i dont know about this. having a remote just seems so laim. i like the controller it fits the hand so well. having a remote in my hand will make me feel like im either watching a movie or looking at porn. since i like shooting games, a controller with thr trigger actually feels like im holding a gun sometimes. but a remote. what am i going to do change the channel?
