Ok, i have a question about conduct on the BoSS servers. I've been playing on BoSS 1 for some time now, my brother, A.K.A Punisher in game, got me hooked on this server. Its a good server, with good people to play with and i enjoy it alot. I know camping is a forbidden thing to do and i completely agree with that. It slows the pace of the game down immensely and is just uncalled for. Now i assume that camping is forbidden for everyone or am i mistaken in this? Reason i ask is cause i pointed out someone who was camping the same spot the entire round for several rounds. In fact they do this almost every time they play (atleast when i'm there thats what i see them doing). Now as it just so happens, this person is an admin. I forget my exact words but i said something to the effect of:

nice camping (persons name here) if we were to do this we'd get kicked and banned.

One of the other regulars agreed with me and about 10 seconds later i was kicked and banned. So i want to get this cleared up so i know what the score is in the future. Do admins have absolute power to do whatever they want, including camping? If this is the case i'll just shut up in the future and let this admin be as hipocritical as they like.

In the meantime, would be nice if i could be unbanned. My BoSS name is THANOS. Thanks.

no the admins cant do what ever they want. they are here to watch and guide, and keep the servers running. they should set examples, but theyre not perfect angels like you may want them. we dont allow camping, but if you read the rules (motd) t's can camp, but not to the point where it is rediculous. ct's can not camp at all, however, they can hold off garage. now it also depends on the situation, such as reloading or backing up bc you know someone is there. thats not camping, thats a strategic move. remember the other rule...respect admins and players. sarcasm may not have been delt with properly, but it was delt with. its not up to me if you were unbanned, sorry if you were confused with the server rules. hope this helps and enjoy the servers once you get back on. by the way im not an admin and i wasnt there, i just see this stuff a lot. and ive played with punisher a lot, so you guys are regulars.

I agree that Aziz does camp frequently, but unlike what you said, he never slows down the pace of the game and never usually stays in one spot the whole round even if hes the last person left..although I do not believe that all you said was a simple "nice camping aziz." You can joke around with admins or discuss what their doing without being an asshole to them. They will not ban you unless your are being an ass. I hope you are unbanned becuase you are a regular and I have never had a problem with you in the past. BTW I know where the hell Aziz camps, its the damn ledge isnt it Yea I hate that spot too

I think that brings the BS to light.

T's can camp office, to protect the CT's from getting to the hostages. I don't think the ledge qualifies for keeping the CT's from the hostages or office camping.

To add, many times the T's have been told by an admin to not camp the P room or they would suffer a swift lightning bolt to the head. Things smell fishy if you ask me.

If rules are to be set and respected, they need to be followed by everyone and to the T..

To say that joking with a admin is ok, it probly isnt. B/c i know who the regulars are but it doesnt mean i am friends with all of them ( ie. Punisher and i always joke around together. Thanos we dont). So if you said something like this to me, "Nice camoing Cactus" i wouldnt think much of it but if you say something like that again or maybe a f*cking thrown into it. Then you have my attention and then we the admins deal with you, in various ways.

As for camping NCderek spelled it out for you. Camping the ledge is overrated ( ever think of poping smoke in the hall next to the window?) or having a good enough shot to get him? i de-wing az sometimes or atleast do nice damage.

Ok now, camping the P-room. Yea go ahead, have fun do it a few times then stop. We the admins understand that T's are mostly behind in the count and will let them do the whole camp thing to get some wins but to turn the game into a "can you get into the storage rooms" game, then it gets gay. People leave, the servers are not as respected. We want a fast paced game. have a few camp, rush the garage. Be on T when they want to camp the P-room when i am playing T. It is funnny i call the tard out for being a pussy for only being able to win without a P-room camp.

yeah its true az is KINDA a camper, i am too (me and aziz style of playing is VERY similar) but he never stays in one spot for so long as to hold up game play. Some of the times you see him still is him typing, talking, and admining. if you want to kill AZ you have to be very good and most ppl complain about him cause they can't kill him. but i will give you some tips on how

CT-AZ
1. front window is called the AZ window watch the corner
2. Top of Dumpster in garage (he is always last out) so be patient

T-AZ
1.That far ledge in back snow, yeah AZ built it aka he owns that b*tch
2.also watch the window corner


*never try to rescue hosties out garage side if he is still alive
*Aziz's headphones are as good as mine so if he is last alive walk VERY slowly

You missed the point. Its not whether or not someone can kill aziz or anyone that camps that ledge(i was just using him as an example cause he was mentioned earlier.), its whether or not that person should be allowed to camp that spot if he is a boss member or admin. I dont care if someone is camping sniper room, I can still kill him, but I dont think that he should be able to camp the room.

If you are going to make the rules to not camp... then you shouldn't do it at all, period.

Az was b*tching at a guy last night because the guy sat at the front office ladder window for a couple seconds and AZ happened to turn the corner in the garage and he was killed.. and then the guy did it again, but this time I was watching him.. and he was running back and forth in the front office and checking the windows.. and AZ b*tched again, saying the guy was camping.. that's ghey. If az was ledge camping and someone b*tched about it, he would tell you to stfu or he'd kick you.

Last night a bunch of us CT's got on a fun roll with the machine gun and the CT's were just raping.. well az got all pissed off.. told us to stop using machine gun.. and then he got up to the ledge and gave himself an AWP and was sniping people in the office.

If you want the servers to be respected, then admin or regular or n00b should all follow the same damn rules no matter WHAT. Don't set rules if you are going to let admins bend them. It's like when you see a cop sitting at a red light.. he puts his sirens on.. goes through and then turns them off.

Be fair.. or don't set rules and don't ban weapons and let it be a complete fag camping awp wh*refest.

werd, which is why I believe we need less strict rules, because unless an admin is very strict against everyone in the server, things will never be fair. Just play the game, we all know what ridiculous camping is and what it is not.

punisher and thanos, thank you for bringing up the fact that people sometimes let go of W. i do not. i never camp. you may not....it doesnt matter. we have posted the rules. whether everyone is punished for them every time they are broken whether caught or not with a judge or whitness, it doesnt matter. the servers are monitored by admins. we have posted the rules, follow them. we will follow them. the admins will enforce them. no more arguing over the rules, admins b*tching, or what a ledge is, needs to be brought forward here. this should wrap it up. if you have any questions about the rules. type motd in the server and apply that with common sense, or PM an admin. but there is no argument here that needs to be delt with by 50 people over who camped, what camping is, and so on. see you in the serves.

Ok so here is the bottom line.

Camping is not welcome in the BoSS servers. For anyone we all know that.

Do people get away with camping ... YES

Do people get banned/kicked/slayed/froozen/slapped/warned ... YES


I dont know any admin that i play with that doesnt support the senerio of the Office. This is why we let more T's "camp" aka Hold the hosties.

We the admins are the ones calling the shots on the servers while the game is moving not you. We do make mistakes and we do let sh*t slide.

If you really wanna be apart of the server then join vent and get to know the admins and BoSS community (ie. Ds1 is in vent all the time now. And we support regulars joining like him.) In vent you get to hear alot of what goes on behind the game. As in you will hear the admins talking about players and the senerio, whether to call it camping or to not.

Dont sit back and b*tch, b*tch, b*tch that admins are abusing thier powers all the time opr most of the time. It isnt true, you are just mad that something happened to you and you dont see the fairness.

Well hate to say it but life isnt fair. And if yall havent noticed this is a game. And we are all human and make mistakes.

If you have a problem with anything on the servers (ie. admins, camping rules, etc.) Then send me a PM and i will try and help you out. We will get a answer for you whether it is the one you wanna hear or not. I am not the most senior admin or player on the servers, i am far from it but i can help anyone with a server related question. Just remember calling admins out in public isnt the wisest way to take care of bussniess.
