i bought this guy a feew weeks back....its pretty damn good for the price i think....im getting abt 80-90 fps on high settings in cs:s, which i guess is ok...ok for me anywaze...

Just go for the X600 or so if you cant afford better... better then that halfassed nvidia card

i dont remember where but i saw the x700 for 189 the other day. i forget where i saw it. and the x700 is pretty good, that 9600 is like 3 years old

The AGP version of that was $139 yesterday...oh well. It jumped $70...bios flash it and unlock the other 8 pipes and you've got a 6800 Ultra for $129

ATI ftw... X700 is pretty good if you can find it for 189 as Derek said... If you can afford the 9800pro, I can recommend that

do u have PCI-E? because the new ATI cards like the x1300 which is pretty much as fast as the nvidia 6600gt (great card) is only $95 which is a freaking steal they are PCI only tho....

But if you don't have PCI-E I would recommend the 6600gt because it really is a good card for the price I think if you have a good processor and a gig of ram you can run CSS all on high and get 40-50FPS
