Ok, so i was on my brothers computer doing something to the resistry for him that he asked me to do. I do it, and it works. Problem is, his keyboard dosn't work. So I restart his computer. It boots up windows, shows the progress bar for a bit, then turns off and restarts. And does it again. Over and over. I think the problem is that I f*cked his registry, and didn't make a backup, so I don't know if I can fix it. Worse still, we can't re-install windows because he lost his XP CD and his recovery CD. Wtf do I do?

If the computer physically turns itself off (powersupply turns off) its prolly a hardware issue. (Try another keyboard) Is the keyboard USB or ps2?? A f*cked up keyboard could do this. A f*cked up resistry probably wont cause the powersupply to turn off.......
