well if you have a pass on your account on windows.. just check the little box in the screen saver thing that says on resume go to welcome screen... as for the startup password.. go to your bios and there it will be set system pass.. and just set it.. well there are actually 2 passwords to set there.. one is for bios and one is for boot up.. just set both.. and incase you dont know how to get to bios.. when you start the computer.. it tells you like push f10 to go to bios or something.. its different on each system... so yeah..

alright thanks. will this slow down start up much?

i put one in screensaver and in my acccount. they work fine. but in bios, i put one in for user and supervisor but what are those for. when i startup it only asks me when i log in to my name, which i set by my account. so what did the 2 i set in bios do?

its supposed to ask you for password when the computer boots. you know, that ms-dos kinda screen shows up when you first turn your computer on. oh, just dont forget that password. because without it you cant even enter into any OS on your computer.

And thats pretty much the only save password to put on (unless you forget it :9: )

The windows one, at start up, can be by passed as easily as you can get away from a fag with a broken leg

if you do forget it however there is a way to reset the password you will have to look it up on the net... but there is a way to short out the parallel port on your computer to erase the bios pass

short out the parrallel port? lmao.. no you just need to place the jumper on the motherboard to the reset pass location..

haha its either the jumper specified in the book or sometimes removing battery of the motherboard helps too. but he didn't forget the pass so no worries.
