im considering getting a 360, but i dont know if its woth it and recentlly i havent read many articles about it, just wondering if any of you guys own one and could give me your opinion

the guy that has it said that it was a gift, so he thinks its worth it, but because he didnt pay it...says to wait for the price to go down (PS3 launch)

hmm, then ill have to think about it, although it might be a gift because of a bet , but if that doesnt work ill have to use my own money, and that is why i must think about it

i own one. yeah i standed in line w/my roomate and we each got one. i sold mine for over 700 on ebay, and we kept his in our appt. to be honest, i love it. i hava hdtv and the graphics are pretty intense. to all those who stick to their pc's and that stuff for playin games, nothing's more social with your friends than a console, esp. one thats got sick graphics as this does. get the premium if ur gunna get one. and having an hdtv makes a difference too

I can say that I haven't logged too much time with the xbox 360, but I'd say it's worth it. I agree that its kinda pointless on a sh*tty TV. If you have something descent then get one. I'd spend the money on a better TV first before I dropped the money on a 360. You can get a pretty descent high def CRT for around $500 these days. As far as the social factor you are right. Computer games are much better for some things, but arent very social. Thats why you got to love the game cube. Games are very addictive and simple enough for stupid girls to figure out how to play. The 360 is worth it though. I wouldn't get one myself cuz I wouldnt use it too much, however I'm still trying to convince my dumbass roomate to get one.

its great, but im not goign to waste my money bc i dont have the time for it or money. but it really is nice. but a lot of the same games are comign to pc

the only reason i didn't buy one yet is because there aren't any games out that i wanna play. I was looking at the list of games the other day, and honestly the only one i would consider buying was dead or alive (nice jiggly effects). I just gonna wait and see what else gets released before i spend the money.

besides the social factor which i mentioned before about the pc, i just wanted to add another thing. i'm a big fan of using controllers. and the new xbox360 ones are nothing short of comfortable. they fit your hands better than xbox and aren't as wierd as ps2. the only thing i dont like about'em is the 4 'r' buttons plus the two triggers. i dont have enuff fingers to use all the butttons.

but yeah, the wireless controllers are sweet as hell. tho they eat up batteries, just buy some rechargable one's and they'll last a long ass time. also, u can turn on and off your console from the remote. i havent really begun to tap all of the features yet. hopefully in the near future i'll be sportin windows xp media edition or idk if windows vista hooks up w/it but yeah, i defly wanna hookit up to my pc.

I got mine finally 3 weeks ago, after reserving it back in July. But yeah, it's worth it. But I say wait a few months, say late March or late April to get it. Right now the 360 is in a huge slump of no new games. Dead or Alive 4 being the last new game, released 12/29/05. But wait a few weeks and there's a few more comming out.

But if there's games you like out now, get it, if not wait for the price to drop, or for the selection of games to increase.

Now, if you'll excuse me, PGR3 is calling.

For those of you people who don't have a godly computer, like me, systems are good to have. Since Xbox 360 came out, yeah its good. And, wait for the PS3 to launch so either the price can go down, or buy a PS3.
