Dunno if anyone needs ram and isn't planning on switching to DDR2, but I saw this, pretty nice price for Corsair stuff:

I use the corsair Value Select and it works well. Its really the same sh*t as the XMS (no heat spreader though) but cheaper. (If you look around you can find the "value" ram with the same latency values as the XMS) Thats a really good deal though.

correct me if im wrong, buy i dont think the value select is dual channel.

yeah I would look into that but when I purchased my 2 gbs of ram from newegg it was only $182 and it was a generic kind like Pqi or somthing but it had nice heatspreaders on them and havn't had any trouble out of those 2 sticks.
