Is it just me or does windows always avoid putting out official release dates or what (please correct me if I'm wrong)? In just about everything they do, like windows vista for example I can never find when microsoft says they are going to release a version to the public. There are some predictions, but they won't put any dates on their site for ppl to look at. Even tho they might not be able to make a 100% correct decision on when to release it, they should set a goal for the public to see.

Sidenote: I think windows xp media center is just the equivalent of microsoft windows me. they just put this release out just to put something out new while they're working on vista as they were working on xp when they put me out. I know ppl that bought systems a month or two before the release of xp w/windows me on it and they were pissed lol

Can't wait for what? It's nothing special. They axed the WINFS filesystem... it's just an updated XP.

If you really want to see what it's like, just download the beta. The latest build is 5308... and it's buggy as hell.

oh man...you REEAAAALLLY gotta come to grips with the fact that its microsoft and they just dont give a f*ck. who cares abt vista. i dont give 2 sh*ts abt it. just what we need another resource wh*re of an OS. so while u guys are trying to figure out why your sh*t keeps crashing when u get vista, ill be posting here on my ibook waiting for the real version

The funny thing is Vista looks more like OSX than XP. I know most gamers hate macs (fear of the unknown and all). But OSX is a solid OS, built on UNIX. Vista, however, is a pig on resources, and has no real advantages other than a few updates....

hehe i personaly don't care about MS products, but the fact i make my living out of it. so if MS going to release a new OS i have to learn about it. because whole f*cking world will switch to it.

Oh yes I will be upgrading my sh*t then, better open my wallet and check on the funds
