I have an intel currently, but I bought an AMD 3700 for my next computer. I've heard so many more better things about AMD.

from personal experience, my old northwood p4 3.0ghz h/t ran hot. even when no under load, the sh*t wud be over 50deg. celcius. my athlong 64 4000+ under load doesnt reach over 45-46. that's difference enuff for me to say f*ck intel. screw the clock speeds the lil bit better clock speeds, i'd opt for amd's architecture and i did so happily.

My 3.0ghz intel runs pretty hot too, fan is always working overtime too keep it cool. Intel used to pwn AMD, but AMD is a bit better nowadays, and they have always been cheaper so AMD FTW...
