So I've been using a 22" Compaq CRT (20" viewable) for about 6 years now. Its probably the biggest, heaviest, and ugliest thing ever created. She weighs in at a whopping 86 pounds and the screen itself on this monster is not exactly flat either. (looks kinda like a bubble). Its nice cus its big as hell which is nice cuz ShLoNkYs blind, but shes getting worn out. I have to turn the brightness ALL the way up in order for it to barely be bright enough.

First I was lookin for a 20" widescreen then decided on gettin one of the dell 23" widescreen monitors. This was untill I realized that there was no way in hell I'd be able to get insane framerate in the native resolution of 1920x1200. Besides that, the response time kinda sucked.

I finally settled for This bad boy. I can't wait to get this bigass ugly thing off my desk. I may call in sick to work the day this thing gets here and play CSS all day!!

I bet mines bigger and uglier. Got a nice yellowish hue to it too. Gotta love how every piece of computer hardware made earlier than 5 years ago is beige.

i recently upgraded to a 17 in flatscreen and i still have my old crt on the floor beside my computer desk now

Yeah I probably would never buy anything but viewsonic, Sometimes a bit pricey But they are worth it, nice brightness and flawless design.

i would love to go out and buy two new monitors lol i run i one 20 " and one 17 " monitor right now

Niiiice. prolly the best you can do with that size and response time. They got new viewsonic 19" screens w/2ms response times under 400 bucks. I need a second, I mean my graphics card doesnt just have 2 dvi's for no reason.

OOH OOH!! Coming in the mail TODAY!!!!! One day early. I am actually really excited to get this thing. I have always had a pretty kickass computer, so a new videocard or more memory isn't really all that exciting.

However, I have been staring at the UGLIEST monitor known to man for years now. I let you guys know how I like it and maybe take a few pics. YAY!!
