So I went to go see V for Vendetta yesterday and I believe it is going to be another great underrated movie that unless someone tells you to sit down and see it you wont. So I am going to tell you to go sit down and see it. You wont be disappointed.

The BEST PLOT LINE IVE SEEN IN A LONGER TIME!!!!! and its current. Keeps up with a lot of the things that are in the new today. Hits point on government, censorship, giving up freedoms for security, terrorism, war, homosexulality (not in a brokeback mountain way), human rights, and free speech.

Everyone I guarentee, you will like it if you liked equilibrium. For reasons A.) superb story line and B.) Badass action scenes (Garaa you will like it a lot beucase its him with a knife versus people with guns).

I really cant say anymore without giving away details so i wont. Go see it and if you have seen it post what you think of it.

this movie looks very good..

that being said, something has turned me away from it. I heard that the original guy who wrote V for Vendetta was so disgusted with the script and the direction the director is taking with the movie, that he wants absolutly no relationship with the movie at all.

Oh well, I'll probably still see it

I went to see it last night. I felt the same way as you guys do. I didn't think it looked to great but my friend bought my ticket and I had nothing to do. It is, honestly, thebest movie I have seen in theaters all year. It isn't really about anarchism like all the 13 year old kids who tried to get in thought it was. (The guy actually carded them.) It really makes you think about the gov't. And, there is a scene that can only be called the Matrix Lobby Scene. (you see the beginning on the previews "My turn")

And...two lesbians make out....

Damn you cleric, I was going to make a thread on this. Just I had work today, and saw the midnight showing last night.

Great movie, set in an awesome universe, where USA has botched the middle eastern wars and is in the middle of civil war, while England is under a totalarian government.

I say though, if you wanted to see it, see it in the theaters, it's worth it. But if you only seemed faintly interested, or not at all, give it a rent later.

Oh, and V can make a whole speech out of V words... :wtf:

Well, i loved Equilibrium, but even I could see through the giant plot holes...Does Vendetta suffer the same or really deliever on the plot?

(Just curious - I plan on seeing it here soon anyway, I heard the action scenes really rock)
