I dont know about you guys, but FF7 was an extremely important part of my youth (along with zenogears). it introduced me to the ps, and was the reason i got a ps, and this f*cking movie was amazing. i got so f*cking nostalgic i stopped breathing like 15 times during the movie... it looks so good, and is directed so well, that everyone should see it... but if you were a huge fan of the game... prepare yourself for some serious sh*t... like crying like a b*tch type sh*t....

8 thumbs up on this one guys... dont miss it. :36:

Yea, man. I got the Jap version a long time ago. How does the dubbed one look? I am interested because after a while, I got tired of reading the subtitles.
Either way, if you didn't play the game still watch it. The action SHOULDNT BE MISSED! Tifa, some awesome fighter chick, gets thrown around straight into a wall. But she flips at the last second, lands on the wall, and pushes off and punches the guy in the face. Badass stuff, Im telling you.    :tired: four out of five!

Twas alright, the action scenes on the bikes were way too over exagurated, making it seem cheezy and lame. But the rest was good. Just whenever they got onto the bikes, it got real stupid. Bikes jumping with no force causing them to jump. The bike spinning around at 100s of mph, doing a 180 and still going the exact same speed. If he was on a real bike, he'd be smeared over a 3 mile splat.

Still, there's a line between fantasy, and just plain stupid. The bike scenes crossed that line.

I saw it, and loved it, and the bauhamut ( I probably mispelled it) battle was by far the best.

I watched it again Friday night/Saturday morning (What ever you consider 2 am to be.) And, yeah, I really never realized it, but the movie gets worse everytime you watch it. I realized how horribly the story flows. Action scene, talking, random other place talking, action scene.

See, FF7 obviously isnt here on this earth...think about it. Life stream? Weird creatures? Black people? Obviously, someone cannot jump from girder to girder 50-100 feet apart, and land on them perfectly. Lets just say all of the heros/villans/important people are ninjas. Especially Setheroph and Vincent...they are badass.

I know that. I was talking about how cruely and horribly they transition though. It's so quick and blatent. Most teen flash animators can do better transitioning of scenes then they did. Basically just talked, then suddenly broke to the next scene.

I'm horrible to watch movies with. Cause unless I'm really drawn into the movie, I'll examine the structure and workmanship of the movie's story and filmography. I like to over examine sh*t too much. But, the same habit helps me in CS:S too at the same time. Any little sound you give off on office and I know your exact position if it's down to a small group of people. Just because I over examine sh*t.

I loved the movie more than I can put into words. While they were obviously not realistic in the slightest, I enjoyed the f*ck out of the action scenes. Probably one of my favorites movies now, actually.

The only part that irked me is that most of the FF7 crew didn't have any real reason to be in the movie other than.. Well, being there. Cid, Barrett, Yuffie, and a few of the others were there and served no real purpose what-so-ever, but oh well.

And Sephiroth ruled. =D

For the record, Xenogears was one of the best damn role-playing games out there. Right now, i'm playing Elder Scrolls 4, and it kicks ass. I haven't lost this much sleep over a game since Counter Strike Source.
