so i needed something new to play music while i worked out so i bought an ipod shuffle. it only has 512mb. but thats all i need plus i can use it as a flash drive. so for 70 it wasn't a bad deal. anyway i tear it out of the box load it up and am ready to go run. only to find out it has an internal battery that must be charged for 4 hrs. not only that eventually internal batteries always fail and only hold charges for like 20 mins. so im kind of dissapointed. fyi you charge it by leaving it in your USP port

yeah i know, i have one. i charge it maybe once every week. the battery lasts really long and i have it hooked up to my car stereo too via auxillary inputs. i figured after my dell 15gb mp3 player died that i'd get somethign inexpensive and tiny. idk, i like it billy

yea, the minis suck ass. I have one and the battery is jank. I have like 30 minutes of batter life and it just all around sucks. Thanksfor f*cking up once again, apple!

i have a nano it is sh*t looks good but breaks all the time and battery doesnt last long

hmmm, i have a 20gb ipod and it works fine...battery life isnt amazing, but itll last me a few days in my car. the only problem i have is with my FM transmittor...but thats not by apple, so...
im pretty happy with my apple stuff tho. got my 12" ibook
