Hey guys, I've been playing on the servers a while and thought I'd pop in. Any of you guys do any exotic cooling on your boxes? I've just done water cooling and am thinking about going sub-ambient this summer (mostly because I hate myself and my computer). Eh, just thought I'd ask.

Find the guy [TIMO] Shabow who plays on our servers every once in a while. (He will probably be making fun of me). He built his dad's computer with a water cooling system that kept the computer at -20* F. He overclocked it and kept it as 8*F. No joke. It is apparently 300 dollars and works like a charm.

Good water cooling system + bigass 12v peltier unit (cheap) + innovative insulation method (so condensation doesn't drip all over the place) = -20ish temps.

that's pretty much what I was thinking of. I also have some compressors that I was thinking about using for phase-change, but I'm mildy too worried I would break everything. :D
Having a Stacker for a case makes it easy to fit most things inside. I can probably get 2 power supplies and a dual 120mm rad in it without much problem.

Sorry to repost in a semi old topic, but his cooling system is like shadows. I think it is caled a phase change system or something. It isnt liquid cooled.

yeah, I saw pictures somewhere. Looks like a MachII or something. I'm trying to decide if I want to be adventurous and build one myself... I'm a little hesitant about making my own, but real ones are SO expensive
