Was thinking the other day, people get ramped on for bringing up old threads. Which is okay I guess. But if also, if they bring up a thread about the same thing that was posted before in the past, they get ramped even harder. My question is, should one of these rampings be stopped? B/c I dont think its completely fair to do both of these things.

sure, as long as they are relevant it should be ok. I usually just point out that ppls should look at the dates and consider carefully before reviving 'em.
Thing is it's usually the new people who go through a whole forum section and stir up all kinds of dead topics, which is not OK.
