This sequel is awsome. Critics tend to bash it but take a look by urself cause its a godamn good movie. The Kraken's scenes are great and johnny depp is better than ever playing Jack Sparrow. Too bad they ended the movie with an open wide garage door to the 3rd movie. Anyway totaly worth watching on the big screen

I saw it on Friday, and it's amazing! My friends invited me to go along, so I went to see it, without having seen the first one. I am definitely watching the first one now, because this one was awesome. I really liked the CGI of Davey Jones and his crew, and the Kraken was great, too. The whole movie was good, good story, good humor, good music, everything. Go see it now!

i heard it was too long from a few people, the first one was pretty good. more of a family movie though

it is a little longer than other movies but its worth seeing i saw it last nite and it it was a damn good movie.

i did not like it

granted as a stand alone movie its ok. but considering i was comparing it to the first one i was not impressed, and yes it was too long. i will not see the third one.

Just got out of the movie. It was pretty good. Plenty of memorable scenes. I liked the first Pirates more, but the originals are almost always better and the ending of this one was pretty weak... They could have at least finished ONE part of the story...

Yeah it was awesome. This one definitely matured up. The monsters this time were f*cking sweet. Davey jones was badass.

Everyone I went with hated it. I personally fell asleep during it, others asked how I could do that with all the gunfire. I tried to explain how CS can do that to you.... They didn't believe me. I think I liked it more than the first movie, but still wasn't a huge fan. I dunno why it rubs me the wrong way.

I think the movie was great. It was funny and intertaining. Ill see the 3rd one, just like i saw the 3rd matrix, but just with more enthusiasm this time, as these series are done that much better that sequels to the matrix.

i saw it last night and i thought it was pretty good and i agree with Fuz_master that it did mature even though the rating was still PG-13
IMO it was too long but it did have great special effects throughout the film
i am still considering if i will see the next one...the ending does leave you feeling curious about what the next one will bring
from what i have seen on IMDB, the next film is going to be released in 2007
which is sort of a surprise seeing how the first two were released 3 years from one another

yep and johnny depp already owns his own island in the carribean, must be nice......have n't seen it yet but really want to....however i don't go to the movies i will wait for the dvd i guess.....
