Well, my chipset fan is on its last leg. Sounds like theres a weedwacker going to town inside my case. I decided to go with a couple of upgrades while doing so. Bought 2 120mm's to replace the stock crap ones thermaltake provides, bought a slot blower off ebay, bought a chipset fan/heatsink, and to top it off bought a vga cooler for my hot 7800gt. Hopefully, all this will lower the temps that are above normal right now in my case. my card was running at 55 idle which is way to high imo. case was around 40-45, as was cpu idle. its oc'ed a bit but nothing crazy. not gunna worry about changin the cpu heatsink/fan as i'll prolly make a new system coming up soon and dont see a need to do so if all these fans will keep the case and sh*t cooler.

i know the 120mm fans arent the best but they're decent airflow, and have double ball bearing which is what i wanted to replace the sleeves in right now and the led's will add a nice touch. whatchya think?

zallman ftw. i'll post pics sometime but my vga fan kicks ass, dropped my idle 15 degrees celcius. my new chipset fan kicks ass too. didnt realize my other fans were 3pin so i'll have to find some b*tch splitter on ebay or somethin before i can hookup my new case fans..
