bored so i thought i would share something stupid


my roomate graduated college last year with a mass media degree, but he asn't ready to grow up so he is going back for a double major in Criminal justice. Well his father is a Police chief in middle georgia and was at a police chiefs get together. While there one of his dads buddies said that if his son wanted to that he could get a job as a University of Georgia police officer with starting pay $30,000 and finish his second major at UGA. If he did this his school would be paid for. He turned it down because he likes not having a job and going to school WTF, idiot. right now he is making like $150 a week working 2 days at a resturant. He turned down $30,000 and two years of free education at a D1 school cause he doesn't feel like it. wtf

just wondering if any of you guys thought that was as dumb as i did

Debt sucks so yeah free education and 30,000 a year was the no brainer for that choice. He will reget it later when he is paying off his loans and can't spend his money on other stuff later.

well i dont disagree with the situation..maybe thats not what he wanted to do. if he was going to be unhappy whats the use of having money and the things you want if your unhappy. you cant judge a person by their decisions. because i know if i made a decision that concerned the rest of my life and people disagreed with it i wouldnt want them calling me stupid.

happy or not lets break this down


right now he uses everybit of his paychecks to buy alcohol and go to the bar 5 nights a week. he doesn't care about a free education because it is free for him anyway. He has never had to pay for his rent, food, utilities, or school. his parents have paid for it all.

taking this job would have turned him into his own man, and its about time too 23 years old still living off of mommy and daddy. sh*t i am 21 and pay my own way.

This was a missed opportunity in his life and it is stupid to pass up. and mallory everything looks peachy in a 16 yr olds eyes, believe me i used to be the same way. But sometimes in the real work you have to put on your big boy boots and do stuff that you don't really want to do so that you can take care of yourself.

The abnormal mind is quick to detect and attach itself to this quality of the right

so i accept anyones happiness. and if it makes someone happy
to spend every penny they own on alchohol and mooch of their parents
