My brother just had a baby and has invited the family to see them every once in a while on a webcam from a website he just made. What programs support this stuff, and is there a website that does free webcam crap. You know, like a vent channel or something. Let me know. Thanks.

Theres a bunch of programs out there that do webcam to webcam stuff. I think even AIM has video chat built in.

I am no expert on webcams, but from what I have seen, do not buy a cheapo one. The framerate sucks and pisture quality blows. Id check out one of the $100 logitech ones...... Camcorders make great webcams if you have the right inputs and software.....

yeah aim does have builtin webcam support. usually, when you buy a webcam, it has software which allows you to broadcast across the web. idk if that helps or not..
