I was looking into graphics cards to upgrade my other computer thats decent but has my old x700 pro, and I came across this.

im not a big nvidia fan...but for what it is, that is a great price, and think I might pick it up and OC the hell out of it.

Yeah it seems like I'm going with that card since the x1900xtx is out of stock at the moment. Seems very good for the price.

Yeah, I'm gonna wait to see if it will come back up again. If not, then its between the x1900xt and 7900 gto.

Yeah, I'll have to agree. I had a 9800 pro before this 7800gt. And ATi's Catylist drivers were much simpler and seemingly effective then Nvidea's.

dont get me wrong guys, I love ATI, and own an ati x1900xt in my current setup..
but that nvidia, is good stuff for somone who wants almost top of the line with a small budget.

now...I cant wait until nvidia releases their specs and the actual DX10 card....heres a hoping.

the ATI, or should I say AMD r600 is going to have a 512 bit external memory controller whereas the nvidia will only have a 384 bit internal controller, from the looks of it, the r600 is going to be one amazing card pushing far over 50gb/s bandwidth with that controller, i've heard rumors of it being possibly the fastest card ever built, surpassing even the CAD based FireGL type products.
