This might sound like an old and noobish question to you guys but, How do you install skins for CS:S? I have read the useless guides on Fpsbanana.com and at a bunch of other websites. It would be nice if you could give me a descriptive guide on installing the skins. :1:

its easy actually.. (its like this for weapons, player skins are similar) extract the skins that you downloaded.. then go in the folder and it will be like materials, models, and sometimes sounds.. then go to your cstrike forlder of css and there you will see folders called materials, models and sounds and the other stuff.. then just go to the skin that you downloaded under materials.. it should have a sub folder called weapons and in there, there will be the folder with the name of the weapon that you downloaded and inside that there will be skin itself like v_whater and w_whatever (for the cooler skins that reskin the weapon when its on the ground too) copy over the weapons folder into matrials and you will have that skin. Then do that for the other folders that are in the weapon skin thing that you extracted..

If you install multiple skins.. then just extract the folder that has the weapon name into like materials/weapons, models/weapons, etc... because if you copy over the weapons folder.. it will override your other skins that you installed.. and thats it.. hope that makes sense.. :9:
