Ok, for a reason i have to open up some ports on my computer. Im using a router.
Now how would i go about opening up ports.
I was on a web site that was suppose to tell me how, but it only made me confused.

log into your router. Browse to 192.168.0.1 and it should bring up a page in which you can configure your router......

What are you trying to do??

usually its 192.168.1.1 though :P there it will be like (for linksys) Applications and Gaming and there you will type in port and what type it is and then check the little checkbox...

go into your web browser.. in the address bar type in 192.168.1.1 (or it might be different, check your manual), then it will ask your for a username and pass.. usually username is admin and pass is 1234 by default.. again, check your manual if that ip/username/pass doesnt work...

I gotta linksys and it ends in .0.1 so :dork:

its real easy. also make sure to check your windows firewall and add those ports there into the list if you have it turned on.
