I know we've had threads like this, but there is a band I just started listening to that needs mentioning.

They are a somewhat so-cal punk band. Imagine Blink 182 before they sucked with some newer styles mixed in.

They are called Set Your Goals and can be found at www.purevolume.com/setyourgoals.

And now someone is going to come on talking about punk now isn't as good as black flag or whatever.
Yea, punk has changed...for the worst somewhat. Luckily there are bands like this that may be able to bring it back.

Nice, They are going on tour with one of my favorite bands, Big D and the Kids Table in March which is cool. Theres a weird mix of bands on that tour, you have Big D, these guys, Anti-flag, alexisonfire and others. Kinda a weird line up. Not bad though

Personally, I think they are over rated and their fans at warped this year were assholes.

So I met them at the concrete during from Autumn to Ashes.

anti-flag is pretty much just anti-war/bush, etc. boring.

2 new ones i've come across recently are FBS and Juicehead.

FBS sounds like old Agnostic Front and Juicehead is reminiscent of the Misfits.

believe it or not, some people actually enjoyed certain bands prior to hot topic's "existence," if you can call it that.

for a band that started paving their way in the late '70s, you can't really discredit them as they were a big part of the "original punk" scene.

comeback kid is a hardcore christian band... uhh enough said? they have hope and faith in there hearts.


p.s. the misfits have the worst merchandise of any band in existence, but "dig up your bones" is a fantastic song by them, although thats late misfits without danzig.
