I just picked up a GeForce 7300 Gx for $79.99 at best buy the other day, i needed it to play vanguard, and im just wondering if it was a good deal or if i got riped off...

I don't know too much about computers, but it doesn't seem like you got shafted too bad. I just did a quick search on Newegg, and they have some good quality GeForce 7300 GX cards right around that price. They also have some that are both more and less expensive, but I don't know how well they work. Their top-selling 7300 GX was $69, so I'd say you didn't come out too badly. As for how good the video card actually is, I have no idea. But hey, you got what you needed to run the game at a price that didn't empty your wallet, so +1.

newegg has em for $70 so its not a terrible deal. Terrible card, not a terrible deal.

yeah you bought an extremely outdated card my friend.. 64-bit memory won't run a whole lot. it may run some sh*t but definitely not for future gaming i garauntee you that. should have saved a bit more for a card with atleast 256-bit memory like the 7900 gs <-- since u have agp im assuming.
