I've had this card since august and its always run fine but since the new steam update, i'll be playing and it will go black for a couple seconds and then come back but i still hear sounds. i uninstalled the driver and updated it and updated all my software but still cant figure out y it goes black.

Anyone have any ideas?

check to make sure its not overheating.

i really dont know, only other thing i can think of is blow on the card if it's dusty, take out and reinsert it into the socket.

I think CCC has a temp monitor. Leave that up and start playing CS. alt-tab out and quickly read it before it goes down. Otherwise get something that graphs temps

ive opened it and cleaned it, i clean it like once a week with an air can. but if i restart my comp and play cs it wont flash but othertimes it will its weird. thanks for your help and im getting a new card soon cause mine sucks
