it all depends on what skill level you are on right now. if your new just get a smg or a auto shotty and hold the trigger down

EDIT: Forgot to add get a goodheadset (preferably with a mic so you can talk on vent)

Yeah when you die just spec the best people in the server in 1st person mode and see what they do and try to learn from that...

ya the worst thing u can do is keep switching guns if u cant get a kill. It takes a little bit to get used to each one, so like cleric said just stick with one gun and you'll eventually get used to it. Also, if you wanna try using any of the rifles, like the ak or m4, make sure u just shoot 2 or 3 shot bursts or you wont be able to hit sh*t.

keep your crosshair at chest/head level. I see so many kids running around looking like they lost their contacts...

Use easy weapons to fine tune your aim. M4, Krieg, MP5, P90, TMP basically...

and most important; type "cl_crosshairscale 2400" w/o quotes in console.

Play gun game for a few weeks... you'll be forced to adapt to all guns. It will make you appreciate the complexities of the game itself, as well as each gun itself.

Well to begin with, there are 3 important things when trying to improve on playing this game. Hand eye coordination (aim), Sound, and timeing and possition.
I usually always aim at head/chest level unless i get in a panic and have to spay the ak, then i aim at the feet lol. Go into an empty server and try out the weapons by shooting at the wall while performing different actions and different distances and see how the bullets react. Also if you really want to get serious, have a gatoraid before you play cs the electrlites will improve your aim lol.

playing drunk is 50/50 for me. half the time it just makes me feel sick...


gatorade actually works. Used to drink it before clan matches.... /hangs head in shame

Play battlefield 2 for 4 hours straight, then get on CS. It seems slower.
