I'm probably going to go see it tonight, but I'm a little worried. Rotten Tomatoes is a website I can usually trust for good movie reviews, and so far 300 hasn't been doing so well. It's currently at 62% out of 100 (obviously). A lot of the reviewers have been saying that it's got great visuals and plenty of action, but the story telling, dialogue, and the acting is a little weak.

Don't crucify me just yet, ok? I still haven't seen the movie for myself, yet. I'll give my own review later.

Yea I use RottenTomatoes regularly too and I noticed 300 went from 100% down to 62% very quickly, I was quite suprised. I think the visuals and action alone (based on what I've seen) are enough to warrant me going to see it though.

They added a lot of crap in the move that wasn't in the book. Also i wish Frank Miller would have directed the whole move, then it would have been a hell of allot better.

Well, its not like they can really pizazz up the story telling alot. I mean, it is based off an actual happening.

The action scenes are totally worth it, though.

The fight choreography was OMFG through the slowing down and speeding up.

Just got back from seeing it. Damn good movie. There's a lot of influence from Lord of the Rings but it was still a hell of a movie.

Just got back from seeing it, and it's visual creaming-of-the-pants effect is comparable to that of Sin City (although the two are completely different ends of the spectrum). The slowing down and speeding up of the fight scenes made them seem all the more bad ass. This movie will not only make your e-penis grow, but your real penis will be significantly larger as well.

9.5/10 in my book

I just adore the history behind, even if its not as historic as it could be. I mean the formations, their skill, determination.... all amazes me. Plus, im just a huge fan of all the history - mythology - gods - sparta- the whole troy bullsh*t - you know what i mean

once again for 300... after that my night blew donkey balls, but in the end it doesnt matter, because i saw 300.

PS by the way, i got piss drunk by the end of the movie at IMAX... then went to drink more... got in a fight with my girlfriend... had to drive her car trashed to her house to then just leave with my friend... lots of drama... but i dont care.... 300!

If you still havent seen it, watch it at IMAX - completely different feel, no matter what movie you watch... but esp these types of flicks..
