So, I was dicking around with Java, and amazingly it still allows viruses to enter your system, found a nasty little fucker, Injected itself into the registry and started spoofing a windows file, the file was in Program Files\Common Files\ labeled as dllhost.exe, yeah mmk, so I did a little more digging into how it started, checked temp folder, java temp files, yay.

it injected itself as a system service, *Com+ System Application Manage*, which isn't even really a windows service, which was why I was kinda confused, which brings me to my other conclusion, without a firewall, you *will* leak data, and that is why you must have a software firewall, because without that, there is no way of knowing how much information your PC is sending out, not to mention software your testing *phoning home*.

death to java, oh and Mind you this was on my laptop, but none the less, fuck java.

Yes, this is true. Java is a shitty security-hole infested piece of software. I also hate all people who code in Java. Seriously, why would you code in something that takes additional time to load because of its own environment.

But your firewall must be a good one and remember the rules you set for it.

ha ha.... java has it's own environment because it is portable. Java apps can be run on almost any machine. Just like .NET.... not a bad thing.

I hope you understand that most schools teach the basics of programming using Java because of it's ease of use. Infact, you being 14, if you took AP Computer Science in your senior year of high school, that program uses Java.
