I won't spoil you by spitting every piece of info I know about this game, but there is another SC game scheduled out in November of this year that looks amazing. Last year, Double Agent was an okay game, but the campaign was kind of short, and the mulitplayer was extremely lacking (on the Xbox 360 anyway). Well, fear not, the new SC, called Splinter Cell Conviction is being made completely, both the singleplayer and multiplayer component, by Ubisoft Montreal, the people that made Chaos Theory's campaign. The series has taken a completely new direction, and the physics in the game are going to be incredible. In DA, roughly 2,000 different animations were used, Conviction is going to have over 10,000. You will be able to interact with everything in the environment, and each way is going to be a little different. The newest issue of Game Informer (the June issue with COD4 on the cover) has a 2 page article on it, and there might be some information about it online. But, nonetheless, I'm a diehard SC fan, and this new turn for the series looks awesome. It's still stealth gameplay, just in a whole new setting, and I think its all for the better. You Splinter Cell fans should look into it.

EDIT: They say the gameplay is going to be a bit similar to Assassin's Creed, but will still be an original and all new game.

Is it me or has there been way too many SC's? I think the company should expand in the same genre but with a different character and a different story-line. Modifying the original one over and over gets old. Tom Clancy had way more books than just SC and a lot were better.

I'm not a big fan of Splinter Cell, but Fisher looks like a badass in this one.

The new ones are way better...I suggest you try chaos theory, personally I would say that is the best one out so far.
