I would actually play this map, if it didnt have a awp... An awp is fine in organized play.. but otherwise it sucks...

D2 is defined by awpers. Without them it's a sandy office with a few fireworks for the winning team .

yeah i agree that it is somewhat essential in D2, it just sucks when someone who is godlike with it comes in :(

i wouldn't mind only having scouts on dust. when ppl start to get pissed when i awp ill switch to a different weapon but there are some guys who arnt so nice.

TJ I agree w/ you. I don't ever play d2 anymore because there is normally 1 person on each team monopolizing and pwning with the AWP. It's just not fun to keep getting popped w/ the awp over and over, especially if you can never get your hands on one to fight back. Shadow already tried the server with no AWP though so I doubt it will be tried again.

I actually thought that AWPs don't kill you when shot in the leg with full kevlar + helmet.

I rarely get killed by awp, you just gotta be quick, travel in teams, and know where awpers frequently camp.

I agree leave the AWPs the problem is those sh*tty awpers who lock it up. wish we could ban weapons from people lol

i tuthfully dont think ANY weapon should be restricted becsaue they are legit guns in the game. If someone is extra good a one gun that means he out time into it. I myself am an awper and i would not play if awps were completly restricted. I used to be a n00b and search for servers wiht no awp but then i learned how to use it. awps are an essential part of the game. and the only way it is a one shot kill is if you hve no armor or its a shot above the waist. <3

People act the an awp is the f*cking Death Star, but really with the lack of mobility, slow rate of fire, and few positions where it's useful, the awp is nothing special and can be dealt with if you know all the sniper spots (especially on D2). Not to mention, isn't it still one per team on the BoSS D2 server? That means you're not up against a firing squad, but rather merely a little scrub who luckily got his hands on it.
