Yeah, I don't get NASCAR. I understand 200mph for 3-6 hour races is intense for the drivers, but for the audience? I don't get it.

I much prefer open wheel racing because of the fact they make right turns, hair pin turns, and it just seems more competative over all.

I think you have a misunderstanding of the term "open wheel racing" (they dont all make hair pin turns)

I've gotten out of Nascar almost entirely, I used to be a big fan though, I'll probably still go to the race in New Hampshire with my father in Sep. though

Though it may shock some of you, i have never been to a nascar event in my life. Growing up i thought it was the stupidest thing i had ever seen. Getting older however i am learning that it isn't so much about the racing as it is Showing up somwhere on a saturday morning, tailgaiting and getting drunk with the largest group of nigger haters on the planet. Here is to one of the last sports not dominated by monkeys. hell they are taking golf, now hockey and nascar are all we white people have left. I hope to go to a race soon though.

have fun and take some kick ass pics

Well yeah, I know not every race does it (ex: Indy 500), but it's nice to see them do something different besides loop for a couple hours.

i absolutely hate racing, but when I was a kid my best friends dad was on the pit crew for a team and we used to go all the time...as I grew old I still hate racing, but I still goto races every now and then...its a total different experience actually being there...plus you get F'ed up.... ;)

same with hockey I will never watch hockey on TV but I love going to the games...even when I was stuck only going to Florida Panthers games...

yea I meant more along the lines of there is a lot of different types of open wheel racing like dirt modifieds, featherlight modifieds, sprint cars, midgets, etc.

I prefer races with a bit more horsepower, more like around 7000hp. Nothing like tailgating, getting drunk, watching a vehicle go a 1/4 mile in 3.5 seconds, and then going back to the cars, and drinking some more and eating food.

And I couldn't get the picture in time, that's why this one is blurry, but I had to get a pic of this guy.
