ive been getting that "your video driver is outdated" message from steam and ive been kinda laggy..

so i went here http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html

and looked around.. i have a radeon x300se driver
windows media edition xp

they have an update for the x300 but not for the x300se...same sh*t?

i get the same thing for my ATI Mobility X1400. everytime i try to play source it says its outdated, and i try to get a new driver for it but they don't have any for 32-bit vista systems so i just click continue anyway.

Notice how it says for the X300 Series? The SE Version is part of the X300 Series. It will work.

If you are looking for some updated 3rd party ATI drivers for your card, check out Omega Drivers I use it on laptops that the manufacturer fails to update drivers for.
