Would someone kindly explain to me why these grammar and spelling debates keep coming up in these forums as of late? This is the internet for f*ck's sakes. It's practically mandatory that at least a quarter of the people using it can't spell correctly.

While I'm normally not one to get pissy over someone's spelling or grammar if I can understand their post, when someone tries to rub it in another person's face, I'm all too happy to point out their own mistakes.
