Ok, I finally got Ubuntu to work the way i want it to. Ive got WoW working perfectly and steam is setting itself up as we speak. But Vent is being a motherf*cker. I can get it running under wine. I can see and connect to the server. I cant hear anything because it says its missing a codec.(GSM 44khz at 16bits I think). I have Alsa-oss installed but my thumb is up my ass at this point and Google isnt helping me for sh*t. Anyone got any clue?

look online for a Cedega Walk through and...you should be able to find the means to obtain Cedega for free
