ok i know this would be a graphic problem but for some reason when i start css and play ok graphics fine ok then when i hit the window key to check something that came up my graphics get stretched idk why but they do anyone can help that would be great

i did install lastest driver but the funny thing is it says im hardware is directx 8 when css uses drict x 9 right so idk what to and i have direct x 9

If your hardware is DX8, Install DX8, not 9.


CSS will still run on DX8, maybe not the best, but it will run it.

It does not matter what newest version of directx that you have. DirectX will not use DirectX9 if your videocard does not have directX9 features.

You telling us that it is running in DirectX8 mode, seems to me you are running a Geforce 4 era card or earlier.
