My wii is awesome. When i called microsoft they told me it was $80 to fix my old xbox. You can get a new one for that price. What a douche.

The f*ck? mine never overheats and frankly, ive left it on for hours and touched the side to feel nothing but lukewarm. Try not placing it beside a fireplace.

I left my Wii on for four days on accident. It wasn't even hot when i came back from vacation.

^^ There you have it, The fireplace was a metaphor don't have a period. Maybe you got a bad Wii? Ive done the same by leaving it on for hours at a time and it doesn't overheat.

yeah ever since the new one came haven't had any problems w/ it except most of the games suck for it.

The only game I'm really looking forward to at this point is Smash Bros Brawl.

I miss my University days of endlessly playing Smash bros, now my friends and I will be able to do it again... over the internet!

Funk 'played the sh*t outa it', though. Big difference between just leaving your machine on and not stressing it (while you go on vacation or whatever), and actually playing it non-stop for several hours...or days, whatever the case of funks addiction may have been.

Wii is fun for the first 2 months then I didn't touch it till super mario.

hehe.. things are picking up. Start of next gen was well.. bad as all next gen rounds begin :P systems either glitch or have too few games to play at first (when 360 came out at first it didn't have any good launch titles too imo.. people are just forgetful of the sh*t it had). Wii and PS3 are selling mostly on what's to come with a few things out now that satisfy our tastes. Ahh.. so fun. But all systems looks promising, tbh as time goes by. Each has good exclusives and ones that look fun coming out. Each has unique features, etc..

I agree right now that Wii doesn't have anything that truly captivates me for hours and hours on end (really not much next gen has lol). But I see tons coming out that just might. Give it a try when more comes out.
