i personally copy/paste all of the steam files since they're about 4+gigs so you dont have to dl them again.
make a list of programs you have installed so you know what to re-install upon reformatting.
im about to do mine this week, been close to nine months since my last.

+1other than that just remember that it is not completely erased till you take it out and run a large speaker magnet over it a couple times. do this to ensure that it is completely erased.

Until this summer I hadn't reformatted my computer since I got it like 5 years ago. mj0ne5 is my friend and I'm going to be helping him so I know the drill kinda. But he doesn't know anything about comps.... ( mike....) so I'm going to be doing everything. Haha.
Yeah, David is right. I really don't care. I just want a managable machine. My computer should be a lot better than it is. I'll probably just buy a gig of RAM and a new graphics card. But not until winter most likely. Oh, and thanks for the help so far, guys.
