Well the title says it but the only problem is that one day i come on vent then all of a sudden my mic doesnt work. I've tried my other mic and it doesnt seem to work either. The only sound i get is feedback when i press my push-to-talk button.. i mean they are both still good i tested them on a different computer but i think its my settings that is screwy.. "Need Help"

It's possible in plugging in the mic, you sent a little static through it and fried it.


Settings don't just "change."

it couldnt be lol.. cuz the mic was plugged in the whole time.. i mean 1 day it worked.. the next day no1 could hear me :(

you said you tried them in a different pc and they worked?
did you try restarting your pc?
uninstalling sound card drivers and then reinstalling?
verifying you have it plugged in correctly?
ran a train to lose your virginity?
checking the volume setting for your mic?
