Once or twice per game of CS, my game will freeze, force me to exit, and then my internet connection is dead. Ive tried disable/enable and repairing my LAN connection, no result. Basically i end up having to restart my comp once or twice per game of CS:S and its really annoying. This also happens if i simply leave steam open for the same amount of time, without CS:S open. Any help/suggestion would be appreciated.

nah my internet connection is disgustingly good and never disconnects, unless steam is open. also my network connection still says its connected, it just stops working. then i restart and im fine. its just mad annoying when im shooting at ppl then i time out.

I'd start there, if u havnt been already. Look for a similar problem someone else has had or post a new topic. Some of the stickies look like they might be useful considering your problem...

I have the same kind of deal, here's the coolio error I'm getting.

The Problem? Well according to the Steam website, apparently Steam doesn't get along with Wireless connections Or linksys routers/cards.

Oh shit, that might explain some of the problems I've been having lately. Although I'm not getting that error, my entire connection to the internets flips out and halves my download speed and slams my upload speed down to 25 kbps... I'm supposed to have 6mbit. 500 ping on all CS:S servers = fail. And I am running steam through my wireless router... hmm.
