I have just recently got and put myself together, a new computer.

INTEL PENTIUM D 945 3.4GHZ 2X2MB

Don't know about that, my single core processor beats the shit out of any Pentium ever made and I only get about 50-80 fps on all high settings.

So yeah.

I would take a Northwood over a Prescott Or D

he will play it with good settings easily. and getting 50-70 fps is not bad in a game.

eh its ok, prolly a budget system...personally id have spent the few extra bucks and upgraded the processor...as shadow says they are prone to overheating. and ive gotten more out of my 478 socket Prescott Celeron D in my ol desktop dino then some of these Pentium D systems....and it stayed cooler AND was overclocked =P




on a off note, i just saw Chris's sig....and its too true... Vista does take more to give more of an epic fail...

Keyword is Pentium not Intel.

Intel processors that are not Pentiums are win.
