I�ve seen this entry being posted around, but I�d like to caution that "The Hard Fix" opens up your computer to attacks.
You can try "The Hard Fix" at your own risk. I have also contacted an AIM developer about this issue, for now I don�t know what they will do (more likely just to prevent it from happening again but not really fix the issue) and Microsoft needs to patch this issue again for the new generation that has been receiving this problem. If you need further help, direct your questions to the links in "The Hard Fix" section. Also read the comments section for additional tips.
Over the weekend a multitude of Windows Vista Issues were reported. Since enough people have complained about it, its time to post. There�s two types of problems going on but most notably the Network Issues. Here are the symptoms:
1. Vista Displays a Red X saying that its not connected to a Network even though it is.
2. Connection may say "Connection status: unknown. Server execution failed."
3. WMI Problems or is Corrupted
4. Windows Media Player won�t be able to play Mp3s
5. No sound can be heard from computer
6. Windows Security Center reports errors
7. Windows Security Center may not find your AntiVirus Program
8. No Network Activity is reported even though it exists
9. Windows Zero Configuration Problems
10. Steam Apps from Valve Software (i.e Half Life 2) will not download
11. Windows Media Player cannot access the file. The file might be in use, you might not have access to the computer where the file is stored, or your proxy settings might not be correct.
12. iTunes stops working.
13. I must say this list is freakin long�
God damn that is some jewish shit. Fuck MS and FUCK AOL! Fuckin AIDS-ridden malware piece of shit... That's it, I'm switching to Trillian.
