It's a lot like playing through a sexy, sexy version of KOTOR. In fact, it's like playing KOTOR while getting a hand-job from an Asian sex worker.
Awesome graphics, awesome game play, and a bunch of the achievements unlock bonuses for future play throughs.

Quick question: I know you can drive the APC thing, but can you fly the ship, or is it like in KotOR?

not so much the former, but the fact that to get someone to "take cover" you have to lead them to a wall... either that or "take cover" means f*cking stand directly in the open 2-3 feet from the nearest conveniently body sized object in alien speakz. not to mention the f*ckers throwing a "wall/shield" directly in your line of fire, lifting/throwing you or hurling singularities into your back.
also, a lot of skills/talents become utterly f*cking pointless after unlocking others or just outright because it's less costly/more efficient to just put them in a different tree that's almost the same f*cking skill/talent without a damage or health modifier. (which I might say become almost completely f*cking useless themselves after dumping some points in certain areas and make you feel like a complete douche for using up valuable points on a skill/talent because you didn't f*cking know any better.)

But that's the good part. The dialogue, backstory, codex entries, all of this- it's some of the best, most well-crafted plot I've ever seen. I'm not the best person to judge combat, though at times the system does feel difficult to use, but the story is GODLY. If other games like Halo are books, Mass Effect is a ten-book series of novels. The galaxy and its story have an astonishing amount of backing, the civilizations and races have well-established histories, and the moral choice system is more developed than Bioshock's. Like Fable, the game promised to have every one of your actions effect the story. Unlike Fable, however, it delivers. Your starting class, your stating background and personality, all of these are nice little effects of customization. Then I started playing and discovered that the story WILL BE f*ckING DIFFERENT depending on what you choose there. It's madness. While there are only *counts on fingers* six levels involved in the main storyline (seven if you count the starting world that you don't get to return to), and not too many sidequests beyond that, the amount of exploration, revelation, and character development in between more than stretches the game out into a massive multi-day- perhaps multi-week- experience. Everything in this game is up to you and how you act to others. And it is a refreshing experience.

My only hope is that EA doesn't f*ck it up now that they have taken the rights to the series and I think the company :|

What type of game is it? I cannot recall.
Maybe it is one of the games worth getting, until MGS4, finally, comes out.
